Ek Hazarachi Note is the story of Budhi. During a political rally in a small village in Maharashtra, Budhi receives several 1000 rupee notes from a politician. She goes shopping to a nearby market town with her neighbour, but fate has other plans for them.
Shrihati Sathe’s directorial debut in Marathi in 2014, is based on story and screenplay written by Marathi journalist and writer and journalist Shrikant Bhojewar.
