Talk on ‘Understanding Caste Violence in Maharashtra’

The talk derives its context from rising incidents of caste violence in Maharashtra in the recent past, and specifically in the aftermath of repeated tragedies in Ahmednagar district.
Subodh More is a senior social activist from Mumbai. He is one of the founder members and ex-secretary of the Vidrohi cultural movement. He has been a member of many fact finding committees to investigate atrocities against Dalits in Maharashtra. He is also a freelance journalist and his articles are published in leading Marathi newspapers and magazines.
